If passed, the bill would allow for enforcement of HRS 291-71 and expand EV charging infrastructure across Hawaii. Notably, it would…

• expand the requirement for the number of stations per 100 spaces,

• set the standards for the stations,

• ensure that the stations are maintained, and

• allow for enforcement of EV parking violations.
