Hawaii’s Latest EV Club - Maui EV

On July 15, 2021, Maui EV held its founding meeting. Rob Weltman, club leader, welcomed several Maui electric vehicle owners, Hawaii EV board members, and representatives of Envoy, an up-and-coming sustainable transport solution company.

The club is in its startup stage - its website is being finalized, and volunteers are being sought to help out. If you are interested in contributing time, please contact us. There are opportunities to help with event planning and organizing, content creation, marketing, EV charger tracking, and MORE.

We are excited about the formation of Maui EV. Maui has the second largest number of EVs in the state, after Oahu. With Maui EV, local electric car owners will have the opportunity to be part of a community of owners and supporters of sustainable transportation. They will have the opportunity to collaborate on activities that will accelerate the adoption of EVs and improve the public charging infrastructure on the island.

Visit Maui EV on FaceBook to contribute your ideas and suggestions to improve EV ownership on Maui. Many mahalos to Rob for stepping up and initiating Maui EV.
