Watt’s up with Hawaii’s NEVI Chargers?

Hawaii EV hosted a webinar on November 1, 2024 in which Robin Shishido, Deputy Director for Highways at the Hawaii Department of Transportation, provided a status update on Hawaii’s NEVI program. He shared information about the program and addressed questions regarding the schedule, equipment, and initiative.

The program promises to improve access to DC Fast Charging in the state. Forty-four 150kW Fast Chargers will be installed in eleven charging hubs. Two hubs have already been deployed, and work is in progress for the others.
