NDEW 2024 with Oahu EV
The Drive Electric Week Oahu event at Pearlridge Center, Aiea, Hawaii, was a fantastic success, thanks to a collaboration between Oahu EV (the newest chapter of Hawaii EV) and Drive Electric Hawaii. The event showcased the vibrant future of electric transportation in Oahu, with solid community attendance and enthusiastic engagement from EV owners, vendors, and local sustainability advocates.

Outside the mall, the Tesla Hawaii Club co-hosted an EV Show N Tell car show with over 20 EVs displayed by proud owners. The lineup highlighted the wide range of EV models and customization options, offering attendees a unique look at the future of personal transportation. Notable vehicles on display included:
Three Tesla CyberTrucks - drawing particular interest with their futuristic design and versatility
Rivian R1T - a popular model with families and outdoor enthusiasts
Cadillac Lyric - showcasing luxury electric options
BMW i3 and BMW iX - demonstrating BMW’s commitment to sustainable mobility
Modified Tesla Model 3s and Model Ys - customized by their owners to reflect unique styles and preferences
Miata EV conversion - a creative highlight that sparked interest among car enthusiasts and EV curious alike
Attendees enjoyed a wealth of information from EV owners, who shared their experiences and insights on vehicle performance, charging logistics, and the day-to-day benefits of owning an EV on Oahu. The wide variety of vehicles, including unique and modified models, provided an inspiring demonstration of the versatility of EVs, appealing to a diverse audience of all ages.
