‍Aloha Chair, Vice Chair, and Members of the Committee,

My name is [YOUR NAME], and I am in strong support of HB1620, which  increases funding of Hawaii's electric vehicle charging system rebate program. This legislation will help expand EV charging infrastructure statewide, critical to the equitable adoption of electric vehicles.

Hawaii is among the leading states in EV adoption rates, but ranks near the bottom in charging infrastructure availability. HB 1620 provides a practical, fair, and sustainable funding mechanism to build the charging networks necessary to support Hawaii's transportation transformation.

    Please pass this measure.
