“Charge That Thing? Let Us Count The Ways”

Most EV owners take car charging for granted. After charging a few times, the novelty of the activity and the ‘No gas station visits!’ realization wears off. This is replaced with a habit of plugging in after getting home from a trip and the expectation that their car will be ready for the next trip.

Of course, there are exceptions - not every EV owner has a home charging station and must rely on public charging. That said, with long-range EVs at all price points coming to the market and EV charging infrastructure improving, it will be more convenient to keep a car charged regardless of your home charging situation.
