Drive Electric Earth Month - Big Island EV Cruise and Picnic

On April 26, Big Island EV held its second cruise to the Gil Kahele Recreation Area on Saddle Road, celebrating Drive Electric Earth Month. The event included meet-ups at four locations around the island, followed by a drive to the gathering areas at the Rec. Area (Mauna Kea Park). Each group traveled in a convoy that converged at the recreation area, where we socialized for a few hours.

Owners had the opportunity to compare notes and see the latest cars. We had a good mix of EVs—various Teslas, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Kia EV9, Ford Mach E, Ford Lightning, Chevy Bolt, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Roadster, and Tesla Model Y.

Of course, we also had a great potluck!
