Rob Weltman
Rob is a retired software engineer living in South Maui. He is the founder of the Maui Nui EV Association and a board member of Maui's Climate Action Advisory Committee and the Kihei Community Association. He has also been a long-time activist for renewable energy in Hawai‘i on behalf of the Sierra Club. Rob drives a Chevy Bolt.

Lyle Wilkinson
Lyle Wilkinson emigrated from Canada in 1968 and worked in sugar and coffee operations on the Big Island, Maui, and Kauai. In 2022, his old Jeep gave up, and he got a MINI Cooper SE. He’s an advocate for environmental stewardship and responsible practices and wants to help promote the importance of protecting the planet for future generations. His 2+ year-old MINI has only 5,200 miles on the odometer because walking is his preferred mode of transportation.

Brian Konyk
Brian Konyk has owned an EV since 2012. He is involved in the installation and service of electric vehicle chargers on Maui, Oahu, and the Big Island. He is working on providing an EV charging system that will be simpler, more reliable, and easier to install. Brian’s goal is to provide a better option for businesses to install EV chargers at their locations and to provide local service that will ensure reliability.
